It all depends on the amount paid for both the wages and the salary, I have seen people prosper on wages and I have seen also people prosper on salary provided they had enough to feed on and save. if the both amount is good, then I will prefer wages, because I realised most people who wait on salary had to go into debt to settle for their daily need in wait of their monthly salary while those on wages get their daily meal and still save well.

this depends on the type of job and the financial capability of the company. some foreign companies pay 10 dollars per hour…compare this to a salary of 45k a month in Nigeria….which will you prefer as business man…

I would like to go for a job salary in order to work well. It is not so difficult to wait for a month and get your salary. The office job is a great thing for a common man. Plus, there is also a chance of getting additional perks or bonuses as well. The salary also contributes a lot in a great manner to a working person.

I think salary job and wages are all payment and I think most companies and government pay per hours each day you work but not given as a wage but in bunch as monthly salaries though both wage and salary are preferred because most people save and take care of their families. I prefers job salary because it have advantage on wages due to how is paid.

I’ll choose wages over salary any day, any time. Wages help you to meet your needs faster and better than salaries. It helps you to plan yourself better and easier. By adopting a system of wage pay, our economy stands a better chance of reducing scarcity and unemployment. An individual who needs urgent cash to meet a dire need can only do so within a short period of time with the wages received for labour rendered within a period of time.

I will go for salary because salary is a form of payment from an employer to an employee, which may be specified in an employment contract. It is contrasted with piece wages, where each job, hour or other unit is paid separately, rather than on a periodic basis. From the point of view of running a business, salary can also be viewed as the cost of acquiring and retaining human resources for running operations, and is then termed personnel expense or salary expense. In accounting, salaries are recorded in payroll accounts. Salary is a fixed amount of money or compensation… Read more »

I believe wages is better you can imagine a person who gets 2000 in a day and in a month he gets sixty thousand naira but a salary of say thirty thousand naira when they is no multiple income that fellow goes back to square zero this is why I believe wages is far more better and bigger than wages is better than salary.

the both has an advantage and a disadvantage wages is good in the sense that you get it immediately you finish your work. But the negative part of it is that is very hard to do saving with it but salary in the other hand will take some times before you can get it but is quite more considerable because one will think of saving some and spend some part of the money.

wages is good than salary, even at times people that collects wages live a comfortable life than a salary earner its just that they’ll have to wait for the end of month , which most people cant wait, so i prefer wages to salary.wages is better than salary.

I prefer Salary than wages. Salary are paid through out the year while wages are paid per work done. So when one is receiving salary he can plan well since he is paid throughout the year. But wages are paid per work and so when one is sick it will affect the person salary.

A lot of jobs has better salary, but for me I choose the easy to apply, indemand job that has better salary. So I choose, I think is accounting. Accounting is not so hard job but everywhere country you can apply and find this job with a good salary.

Depends upon the policies the countries they have. In India a salaries person has to be given the benefits of Provident fund or gratuity along with Pension, even if he works for a short time. This account has to be opened and the proportion of the salary from the employee is deposited in the PF account along with the equal amount contributed by employer. In case of persons drawing wages we don’t get these facilities and the work is also not given on routine basis. Work is only given if it is available to such labor. Some how waged people… Read more »

It is totally dependent on the type of work as for me I will go for Salaries because it provides consistent paychecks and more security. It’s easier to cut hours than renegotiate a salary. Full-time employment also comes with benefits, like retirement contributions and paid vacation. But the only problem is that salaried employees work longer hours with no overtime, and may struggle to separate work from personal life. Apart from that life goes on.
