The science is clear: Eating the right foods can lead to a longer, healthier life.
But some people find it harder to eat right as they get older for many reasons. Maybe they don’t have much of an appetite. Maybe they have trouble cooking or eating. Maybe they don’t know what’s healthy. Or maybe they do and just don’t like the idea of kale.

I think this question has a lot of sense. My take on longevity are several factors like food, rest and physical activities, stress, etc. With food there is a direct connection with longevity but not the herbs or supplements.

To an extent yes the kind of food we eat affect how long we will live. for example one lacking protein will suffer from kwashiorkor and thus die early . At same time one taking too much carbohydrates will stand the risk of suffering from diabetes . So yea the food we eat can affect our how long we will live .
